My initial thrill clicking on the link the editor sent over came to a crashing halt as I took in the stock image in front of me and felt the tears build up in my eyes.

Life is about seeing the opportunity around you, stepping into the vision you have for yourself, and embracing the work it will take to get there.

Boundaries and expectations for your team are key to your business’s success and to your success.⁣⁣ They make your life as a CEO so much easier because it gives a clear guide of what needs to come to you and what (or how) other issues can be handled without being put on your plate.

Being a CEO is not all glitz and glam. There is a not so sexy side to it and a not so fun side that no one talks about. But it’s all part of business building, so I wouldn’t be doing you any justice if I didn’t talk about it, because it’s real.

⁣⁣It’s important to review how the last four weeks have done so you can make improvements, adjustments, and set goals that make sense based on how things went.

The CEO is the leader of the ship and must act accordingly. ⁣Everything rides on the CEO being able to look at their business from the big picture and how a chain of events will effect their prosperity or demise of their business.

I’m fine with not being Wonder Woman and I don’t want to be her either. One thing I have learned over the years is that my time is valuable. Whether it is at home, or in my business, it’s okay, and actually healthy, for me to delegate.
